Response amplitude was a linear function of contrast below 50% contrast with a degree of saturation above 50%. Responses were very sustained and the TMTF was low-pass. The MTF was constant as a function of retinal illuminance. Responses to S-cone modulation were much more sluggish than to M and L cone modulation. Lee, et al ARVO 1995
